Sixteen months ago we said "Speaking Just Fine" was "at times hypnotic and others chaotic, the song building upon odd textures with dreamy dissonance and catchy vocals, swelling into a haze of collaged sound and experimental pop layers." This is still true... and the video takes a visual approach to much of the same.

Following the release of their latest EP, the band's original line-up set to work on finishing their debut, a record that's been about a year in the making. The band's lo-fi punk clamor and emotive vocals combine together to create something both immediate and ragged, with their brightest melodic moments peaking up just enough from the distorted sludge pop. 

The band have come a long way since the release of Cherry Blossom, dipping their mopey sound into disorienting shoegaze and unwieldy slacker punk, creating a new record that is brilliantly weird and gloriously detached.
