In celebration of the release, Thank are sharing a new video for “Commemorative Coin,” directed by Theo Gowans and Freddy Vinehill-Cliff.
London’s Modern Technology have started a new record label, Human Worth, and they’re set to launch with an eponymous compilation, Human Worth Vol. 1. The collection revels in a particular brand of explosive sludge and primal noise rock, the sound that seems to ooze from the UK underground in abundance.
There’s little in this world that can prepare you for Thank, one of the UK’s great saviors of noise rock in its most deranged and brilliant form. While there are those that would turn the genre into radio-friendly butt rock, the Leeds based quintet keep it dangerous and fractured, experimenting with genre by adding in earth shaking electronics.
